Now That You Are Back . . .

To: Servant Trip Participants

From: Pastor Pat Badkey

Date: July 19, 2010

NOW THAT YOU ARE BACK . . .

Now that you are back from Lynn the question which often comes to mind is what do I do with what I learned and saw in Lynn. Here are some ideas to think and pray about and perhaps then do.

1. In your prayers remember those whom we served in Lynn:
The folks at Intergrative Heath Solutions, the residents of the group home, the students at North East Shore Christian School, the folks at My Brother’s Table, the children at Kids Club and Youthworks.

2. Look for opportunities to serve here in Cincinnati and perhaps commit to serving once a month at a particular organization.

3. Talk up your servant experience to others. Let them know what you learned and how it changed your life.

4. Pray for each other and the adult leaders who went on the trip that we would all grow in our faith and use the various gifts we have to serve God and the world.

5. Consider what our theme might mean for you now that you are home -- Jesus must become more and I must become less.

6. Consider participating in another servant trip next summer and making a difference in someone else’s life.

You all will be in my thoughts and prayers and thanks for being the hands and feet of Jesus while we were in Lynn. I believe the light of Christ in each of us shone through to those we served.

PEACE!!!
