| PR. JESS AWARDED BRONZE STAR -
Congratulations to Pastor Jess who was awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service on August 24th! You can read more about the citation in the December 18th issue of The Shepherd's Horn.
Pastor Jess is expected to return to the States by Christmas but will likely not be able to get back to Cincinnati until a few days after Christmas. He will return to the ministry at Good Shepherd on February 1st. |

| INTRODUCTION TO PRAYER WORKSHOP - Saturday, February 25th, 10:00- 11:00AM.
Pastor Pat leads this workshop as a fun, yet educational way to introduce prayer to two year-olds. They will sing, have crafts and a snack, and get some simple prayers and a prayer pillow to take home. Watch for a signup sheet on the bulletin board in the lobby or email Anne Miller at amiller@goodshepherd.com to confirm you and your child will attend. |

| CHURCH OFFICERS ELECTED -
Congratulations to the following Church Council members who were elected to leadership positions at the December Council meeting: Jeff Teeters - President (re-elected to 3rd term as President), Sue Matz - Vice-President, Susan Whaley - Secretary.
In addition, Buzz Dorward was appointed to serve as Treasurer (his 28th term!), and Diana Jones and Robin Teeters were appointed to their 3rd terms as Financial Secretary and Assistant Financial Secretary, respectively.
We thank each of these people for their faithful and dedicated service to the congregation and the Kingdom of God.
